The Man In The High Castle

2017 ADWEEK ARC AWARD WINNER: BEST USE OF ANIMATION
While working at CNN's Branded Content Studio Courageous, I had the opportunity to collaborate with several artists and producers and ultimately got to animate many of these fantastic drawings.

For the marketing lead up to Amazon's The Man In The High Castle, we were asked to create a shareable, informative video that explored the "butterfly effect" moment that could have put an end to Hitler's rise to power before it even happened.

Working with the producers, I suggested that we create something that felt "of the time" -- rather than just using stock footage. I collected references of 1930s and 1940s commercials, animations, and audio, and we got to work.

We had a phenomenal Illustrator -- Bob Al-Greene -- draw up the assets for the piece, and I got to animating and treating the piece to look of the time.

In the end, I was able to narrate the piece as well as get my brother some sound mix work as well!

Human x Design

WINNER OF THE 2017 CANNES LION SILVER LION: For Entertainment - Brand Experience: Integrated

Human By Design was a large scale collaboration between Square Enix and Courageous, CNN's Branded Content production company, where I worked at the time.

In conjunction with the promotion of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Square Enix approached Courageous to do something special. Before I arrived at Courageous, the plan had developed to facilitate a conference with a similar intent to The Asilomar Conference -- To explore the future of human augmentation, and all the positives and negatives that can come along with it. These are the same core tenets of the Deus Ex series.

I created all motion graphics assets for the conference and the documentary for Amazon Prime, with the exception of the logo animation seen in the launch trailer, which was created by Matt Choi. I also assisted Marites Algones with some art direction work as well.
